Automate Excel Reports — Custom Tool in 2 Weeks | QuickBuild

Your reporting shouldn't be running on copy‑paste and hope.

The same report rebuilt by hand every month. Numbers pulled from three places and stitched together in a sheet nobody fully trusts. One broken formula away from sending the owner the wrong figure.

We build the small internal tool that fixes that one workflow — without forcing you onto another platform you'll only half-use.

Prototype first. You don't want it? You don't pay.

01 / The problem

One Painful Report. Fixed Fast. No Long Project.

"Every month I rebuild the same report from three different exports. It eats half my day and I dread it.
Rebuilding the same report by hand
"We pay for software that almost does it, so I export to Excel and finish the report by hand anyway.
Paying for a tool that almost works
"Our 'dashboard' is a spreadsheet that breaks every time someone touches a formula.
A spreadsheet nobody trusts
"Our data lives in three systems that don't talk, so someone re-keys it by hand every single week.
Data trapped in silos
"Leadership wants one clean view. Getting it means copy-pasting between five different tabs.
Copy-paste between tabs
"We caught a wrong number after it went to the owner — a formula had silently broken weeks earlier.
Errors caught too late
02 / What we've built

Real reporting tools we've built that killed the manual rebuild — for good.

FIX N°01Reporting

Owner / Exec Report Generator

Pulls from your existing sources, formats it correctly, and produces the finished report automatically. What used to take half a day takes ten minutes. No more pulling from three places and hoping the numbers match.

Result: half a day → 10 minutes, every month
FIX N°02Accounting

Invoice Email Processor

Watches an inbox for incoming invoices, extracts amounts, dates and line items, and produces a clean spreadsheet ready for accounting import. Hours of weekly typing, gone.

Result: manual data entry eliminated
FIX N°03Operations

KPI Dashboard Builder

One live view that refreshes itself from your real data — no rebuilding, no broken formulas. Leadership opens it and the numbers are simply right.

Result: one source of truth, always current
FIX N°04Sales

Multi-Source Aggregator

Pulls records from several systems that don't talk to each other and presents one always-current list. Replaces a scattered manual process with a single screen.

Result: re-keying between systems ends
Imagine the first month

The report just… runs.

No exports. No copy-paste between tabs. No "why is this number off?" the night before it's due. You open the report, it's already right, you send it. That's what fixing one workflow actually feels like — half a day a month handed back to your team, every month, forever.

03 / How it works

3 Steps. No surprises. Your problem, solved.

01

A scoping call.

Tell us the painful process. Show us the report you rebuild by hand. We tell you whether it's a fit, what we'd build, and how long it'll take. If it isn't a fit, we'll say so.

02

We build it.

We build the tool on our dime. Not a mockup, not a slide deck — a working tool doing the actual job, on real examples from your business.

03

Demo. Buy. Or pass.

We show you the tool. If you like it, you pay $5,000 and it's yours forever. If you don't, you walk away. No hard feelings, no clawback, no awkward conversation.

Here's exactly what happens on the call.
A lot of people don't book because they expect a 45-minute pitch. That's not what this is.
First 10 min
You show us the workflow

Screen-share, walk us through it. Show us the spreadsheet, the email chain, the manual process. The messier the better — we want the real thing, not a cleaned-up version.

Next 10 min
We ask a few questions

Who uses this? What breaks? What does "fixed" actually look like for your team? We're trying to understand the problem, not sell you a solution.

Last 10 min
We tell you what we'd build

If it's a good fit, we describe the tool, the scope, and what it would cost. If it's not, we tell you honestly and save everyone time. No pressure either way.

04 / Why not…

You've already tried the other options. You're still doing it by hand.

Option
Where it breaks down
QuickBuild
Manual / Spreadsheets
Works until volume grows, or the person doing it quits. A $20/hr employee spending 10 hrs/week on this costs $10,400 a year — before mistakes.
Fix it for $5,000, in two weeks, and your team never rebuilds that report again.
Generic SaaS
$100–$800/month, forever. Built for everyone, perfect for no one. Three workarounds and a Zapier later, it almost works. The bill never stops.
$5,000 once. Does exactly what you need. Pays for itself in months. Then it's free forever.
Freelancers / Agencies
$15K–$75K, timelines measured in months. The junior dev shows up after the senior sold the deal. Scope creep is the business model.
Same thing, but fixed price, two weeks, with a guarantee. And we're local — walk into our office.
"We'll build it someday"
It never happens. The internal team is busy keeping the lights on. The project lives on a whiteboard for a year. Then two.
We'll have it done in two weeks. And if you ever want to take it over, we hand you the code.
05 / The guarantee

We build it. We demo it. You decide.
If you don't want it, you don't pay.

06 / Where we are

We're rooted right here. Real office, real phone, not a faceless platform.

We answer the phone. We know the businesses on Main Street. And the airport flight display you saw last time you flew out of La Crosse? We built that.

LTC Software Solutions has been building software in the Coulee Region for years. We're members of the La Crosse Area Chamber of Commerce, and we're not going anywhere. When you need a change a year from now, we'll still be here — same office, picking up the phone.

Come show us the report that's driving your team crazy. We love coffee. We love Old Fashioneds even more.

07 / Common questions

Things people ask before they book the call.

01How do you automate an Excel report?
We build a small custom tool that connects to wherever your data already lives — your software, your accounting system, your existing spreadsheets — pulls the numbers automatically, applies your formatting and calculations, and outputs the finished report. Instead of exporting and rebuilding it by hand each month, you open the report and it's already done. We scope one report, build it in two weeks, and you only pay if it works.
02What if our problem is bigger than $5,000?
For bigger projects we agree on a prototype scope and a timebox. We build it, show you what we've got, and give you a price for the full thing. You decide from there. If you pass, you walk away — no charge for the prototype.
03Who owns the code when you're done?
You do, outright. Once you pay, the tool and its code are yours forever. No licensing, no per-seat fees, no being locked into us. If you ever want another team to take it over, we hand it all to them.
04What if we want changes after it's built?
Small tweaks are easy and we're local, so you're not filing a ticket into a void. For bigger changes we scope and price them the same way — clearly, up front, before any work starts.
05Is there a monthly subscription or hosting fee?
No subscription to us. It's a one-time $5,000 to build the tool. Depending on what it does, there may be small third-party costs (like a server or a data connection), and we'll tell you exactly what those are up front — no surprises.
06Are you actually using AI, or is this just buzzword bingo?
We use whatever actually solves the problem. Sometimes that's AI for reading messy documents or extracting data; often it's just solid automation. We don't bolt on AI to sound impressive — we use the simplest thing that makes the report build itself reliably.
07What if the report isn't a fit?
Then we tell you on the scoping call and save everyone time. We'd rather pass on a job than build something that doesn't help. There's no cost and no pressure to find out.
