The Challenge

The company has an existing enterprise resource planning (ERP) system that allows various departments and individuals to have controlled access to important business functionality – finance, project management, business development, and even an integrated CRM system. However, even with an integrated system, one essential component was lacking for business automation. The company was utilizing QuickBooks for accounting software, and data was having to be manually entered from company estimates and invoices already held in the ERP system.

The company was entering invoices, expenses, and doing other essential bookkeeping practices twice. Once within their ERP system. And another time within QuickBooks. Not only did this double the amount of time spent, it also opened up the process for potential errors. With the rest of the company mostly automated, QuickBooks automation was the final piece of the puzzle.

The Solution

The company challenged our developers to customize their current software to integrate automatically with QuickBooks, eliminating the need for manual data entry. Our development team created new reports within their current software, developed a QuickBooks integration, and correctly formatted files so the data contained within entered in proper fields once integrated into the QuickBooks platform.
